The Workday HCM Business Analyst will assist Sysco in its implementation of Workday’s Human Capital Management (HCM) system for 26,000 Colleagues in 15 countries. The modules implemented will be Core, Basic Comp, Performance & Talent, Recruiting, Absence, Learning, and additionally in Canada, Payroll and Time Tracking. The project also includes as first steps a global Job Architecture redesign and optimization of key Workday organizations.

The Business Analyst will play an important role in ensuring the project’s success by identifying, gathering, and analyzing data related to the project. This will require working with various members of Sysco’s global HR and Tech teams, among others. Sysco will partner with a 3rd party to carry out the implementation, and this role will also work with that party to facilitate collecting and providing information to them as needed.

The Business Analyst should be a mature professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, gather, and analyze data which Sysco needs for its Global Workday HCM project
  • Collect policies and practices, both global and local, for review & synthesis
  • Participate and help drive the analysis of the current Workday organization configuration (ex: Locations, Custom Orgs)
  • Complete ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests by working with HR Analytics and HRIS globally
  • Write business, functional, and technical requirements as needed for documentation, testing, and other purposes
  • Create presentations and Excel analyses
  • Work directly with internal and external stakeholders, including Sysco Tech and HRIS, as well as Sysco’s selected implementation partner
  • Follow up and influence others to help achieve positive project outcomes
  • Proactively recognize and communicate issues

Experience

  • -expertise in Workday Recruiting configurations
  • 3+ years of experience with Workday Core HCM or other relevant Workday modules
  • Experience in Human Resources along with Workday is a plus

Technology Skills

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Smartsheet experience preferred.
