Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Porter (Sweeping/light housekeeping in the warehouse)

Workers will be asked to perform their regular duties (job title above), but they will also be asked to help out throughout the warehouse. This is a REQUIREMENT.

• SHIFT 5am-1:30pm FIRST Shift (OT required for the 1st week of the month. after the first week is it optional)

***Environment- dry goods, non-freezer for hotel amenities. working on ***

Will be asked to do additional warehouse work as described below.

• Unloading & loading of shipments:

Inbound / Receiving

• Unload inbound shipments and convey product to staging area to be received in Inspect count & examine all shipments being unloaded against PO’s for damages and/or discrepancies

• Document all overages, shortages and damages

• Conveying of items from the Receiving area or Staging area to Home, Overflow or Bulk locations

• Replenishment, Item Demand, Count Checks and
• Consolidation of items in the warehouse:
• Convey items from storage locations to Home/Bulk locations
• Consolidate like items in storage locations to maximize warehouse space
• Count inventory to make sure product quantities are correct in the locations

Outbound/ Shipping

• Wrap pallets by machine or hand to ensure stability
• Load outbound shipments in a way so that they are stable to ensure safety and avoid product being damaged

• Each associate will be provided with a blue tooth device.

• Employees will communicate with voice communicator to receive orders and locations to pick as an order selector.
