Instructional Designer (Epic)

Job Description:

Resource will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering Epic-based training for Ambulatory, Dialysis, Bones, Urgent Care, Kaleidoscope, and MyChart. Resource will train new hires, provide training upgrades, communicate system changes, maintain the Epic training environment, and support the upcoming provider implementations of Social Determinants of Health (SDOH).

Responsibilities:

Specific Tasks:

  • – Develop training plan.
  • – Develop curriculum.
  • – Develop eLearning.
  • – Provide classroom training of end users.
  • – Log class completion in HealthLearning.
  • – Answer staff questions about workflows and functionality.
  • – Maintain training environment.

Write and send monthly communications with end users.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with Epic’s Ambulatory application, Beans, Kaleidoscope, Bones, and Urgent Care for large county health systems with multiple clinics and specialties.

Certifications:

• Epic Ambulatory Curriculum and Epic Training Environment Build is required.

Contract Term: 3 months.

Requirements: Hybrid. Primarily remote, but will need to come onsite to provide

training from time to time.
